I am immensely proud to represent and head Friends of Education Welfare Trust; this institution is not only extremely dynamic but life-changing. Our primary motivation is the elevation of education and health for the underprivileged citizens of Pakistan with special emphasis on the welfare of girls.
A motto I live by, and fuels my passion for our work is that “We can’t leave them illiterate. . . . . . . . . . . just because they can’t afford it.” Social work is my passion and I have devoted more than a decade to this cause. Having laid the foundation for some of our schools and representing this organization, I am happy that despite our meagre resources, the Friends of Education Welfare Trust has persevered beyond Ali Model English School and our wildest imaginations.
The strength of our dedication to our ideal presents itself in how far Friends of Education has grown since its inception. We would be nothing if not for the successes of our students within our adopted schools, Muhammadi Government Primary School in Awami Colony, Abdul Sattar Edhi- Nor Goth School near Thatta and Ali Model School near Khairpur. Their drive toward bettering themselves showcase their commitment and passion- values that we hope will further the success of our students in the future and guarantee them a greater quality of life.
All of us, here at Friends of Education, strive for the overall well-being of every one of our students and their communities. Little by little, we hope to change the nation for the better. I wish the team and all of our students’ great success and happiness in the years to come.
